Iowa Wedding – Sarah & Mike

We traveled to Sioux City over July 4th for the wedding of Sarah & Mike. We helped them plan there ceremony and reception decor from across the country. We were very excited about their reception, held at Bev’s on the River. The event decor and lighting were beautiful!!

South Dakota Wedding – Ashley & Justin

Ashley and Justin hired us for full planning, we helped bring all of their elements and vendors together to pull of a very sophisticated, fun wedding concept. Their ceremony was held in Ashley’s parents backyard, with their reception following at the El Riad Shrine Masque located in downtown Sioux Falls. Considering the very long, hot and sweaty day – everything looked amazing! Notice the polkadots carried throughout the ceremony and reception!

South Dakota Wedding – Ashtyn & Tony

Ashtyn and Tony’s reception was held at the Museum of Visual Materials, one of our favorite facilities here in Sioux Falls. Ashtyn chose a colorful palette of bright colors. Her bridesmaids wore different colored dresses and carried a bouquet of colorful floral to match. Black trees and birds were carried throughout the invitation, thank you cards, ceremony and reception details. In the middle of the front entrance, a large round placecard table was decorated with a huge black tree dressed with hanging origami birds, votive candles and orchids. Guests place cards inside of a black, metal bird cage placed next to the tree. Tables included a white linen, with bright colored, uniquely designed centerpieces to go with the overall theme.

South Dakota Wedding – Kory

Deep purple, teal and peacock feathers were the center of each table at the Hilton Garden Inn for this reception. The tall floral centerpieces were on 24″ trumpet vases. Each of these had a hanging crystal inside the vase. The candles were tied with a deep plum satin ribbon and two peacock feathers for an embellishment. These centerpieces were complimented with deep plum runners and a green/violet iridescent crush linen on each of the tables. Purple, teal and ivory lanterns were hung over the dance floor for a bit of color.

South Dakota Wedding – Betsy

This South Dakota wedding reception was held at CJ Callaway’s. Betsy’s bright floral centerpeices were adorned with black ostrich feathers for an interesting mix. Bright yellow, orange and pink petals were accented with crystals, and piled around vases which were filled with submerged crystals and floating candles.

South Dakota Wedding – Kara & Ryan

Kara & Ryan chose to have their reception at the Sioux Falls Convention Center in Ballroom A. Kara came into the studio wanting assistance with the reception decor and floral. The guest tables were dressed with black poly linens and chairs with black poly chaircovers. The bright mix of floral in the bride’s and bridesmaid’s bouquets were mimicked for the reception table decor. Large florals with hanging crystals, smaller floral bouquets and trumpets with submerged orchids and floating candles were placed on all tables. The ceiling of the Convention Center was brought down with some white chiffon draping and 5 crystal chandeliers.

South Dakota Wedding – Shelly & Chris

We headed to the Ramada Inn & Suites in Mitchell, SD last weekend to set-up Shelly and Chris’ reception. We covered and decorated this banquet room for 450 guests/54 tables. Each table was covered with a plum satin linen, chairs were dressed with a white poly chair cover and plum satin band. Shelly chose three centerpiece designs, all unique, but each incorporating the deep plum and pink floral. All centerpiece designs were accented with a petal pile, jewels and votive candles in the matching purple. The room was absolutely beautiful when the candles were lit! Amidst each napkin was a dessert truffle, enclosed inside a fuschia favor box, which was embellished with three jewels. The cake and truffles were made by The Cake Ladys in Sioux Falls.

South Dakota Wedding – Jill & Adam

We had the pleasure of assisting Jill with her reception design and set-up. She chose deep purple and bright green as her color scheme for this South Dakota wedding reception. Bright green floral balls sat on 36″ trumpets throughout the Ballroom at the Sioux Falls Convention Center. The other centerpieces consisted of banana leaf wrapped vases with purple orchids and pillar candles. These centerpieces were one of our favorites of the season!!

South Dakota Wedding – Alana & John

Alana came to the studio at the very beginning of her wedding planning and hired us to plan, coordinate, design and set-up the entire event. Their event included a ceremony and cocktail hour at Chef Dominique’s Banquet Facility and a dinner reception and club room at the Washington Pavilion. The details of this South Dakota wedding surpassed any other and the food, cocktails and entertainment kept the guests dancing well into the early morning hours. Alana & John personalized their entire event with a custom monogram. From the ceremony programs, custom coasters with couple trivia, escort cd’s to the reception menu, everything followed the color and theme to perfection. To their surprise, we were able to find an old 2 seat bike to place at the reception. Enjoy!

Following the dinner reception, Alana changed into her party dress and guests headed to the ”Club Room” (Schulte Room at the Washington Pavilion” for the after-party.

South Dakota Wedding – Kjerstin & Tim

Kjerstin came to us in the beginning stages of planning her wedding. We helped her with the overall design of her wedding reception decor. With a color palette of brown, ivory and green, Ballroom B at the Sioux Falls Convention Center was transformed into a very beautiful event. Kjerstin chose 16″ hurricane vases, one filled with green apples and the other with an ivory pillar candle. Each of these had ribbon details, and the green apple vase included a monogram as well. 36″ trumpet vases were placed at the adjacent tables, each of these filled with curly willow, ivory hydrangea and green orchids.
